Catskill Horse Galloping Along Come Join Us

It's been a busy week for sure and we are just getting started. Setting up a new publication takes a lot of hours but we are very excited by the welcome Catskill Horse has received in the community. Thanks to all that have given their input and already become part of the publication and a special shout out to Velga Kundzins and The Greater Stamford Chamber of Commerce for including us in their weekly email blasts to help us get the word out.

Soon time to hit the road and set up some interviews with our business members and share a more personal view of their businesses and services that they offer. It'll be little old me making the journalist rounds and I am very much looking forward to meeting everyone. Have to get that list of twenty questions ready and prep the camera. Please be patient with the process. We hope to be able to hit every business directory member that is in the Catskill region throughout the year and help garner support for their operation.

Meantime we really need photos. We'd love to see you and your horse included on the website, so why not shoot us an email with a jpg attached. Please be sure to include your name, your horse's name and your township.

Photos will automatically be entered in our coming contest and the winner will receive a super book on how to photograph horses. More on that later.

This publication is for you all and we hope you'll enjoy watching it grow. we appreciate any feedback comments too - just email them to us at info@CatskillHorse.org.  Please invite your farriers, vets, trainers, event organizers etc. to send us their listings. And don't forget to check us out on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/CatskillHorse.

Catskill Horse - The Complete Source for Everything Horse

The Catskill Mountains are where I call home these days and I am very excited to be writing on behalf of this amazing new community organization Catskill Horse.

There are so many amazing horse loving folks living and working in this area and we sincerely hope this publication will be a great resource to the horse owners and equine related businesses who also call this  stunning area of Upstate New York home, weekend or year around.

Please come follow our blog and enjoy riding along on this journey, which we hope will be fun for everyone, useful for every horse owner and helpful in the everyday caring and training of every horse that is lucky enough to also call these mountains home.

Lots more to come later. Feeding time and equines beckon.
And we all know the horses come first.
